      • Argentina is popular for it's high protein food!
      • The typical family eats four meals a day, breakfast, lunch, cafe, and dinner!
      • On warmer days, Argentinians like to go outside to BBQ or just to have a little picnic!
      • On cool days, Argentinians like to stay inside, play board games while they eat their favorite food.
      • Argentinians have a tradition that started in the 19th century, eating meat day!
      • Argentina's food is very filling, but they like to eat a lot. Kind of like Italians.
      • Argentina has very expensive meat that is very very yummy, and it is very hard to get.
      • The food in Argentina is food that Americans would also enjoy to eat!

Dulce de Leche Recipe:


  • 1 gallon milk
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 4 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
*Makes enough to last a couple days!


  1. In a large saucepan, bring milk to a boil over medium-high heat. Remove from heat and strain through cheesecloth. Return to pan.
  2. Cut vanilla bean in half and pour the seeds in the milk. Stir in the sugar and replace the pan on medium-high heat, stirring constantly until the sugar is dissolved. Just as the milk mixture begins to boil, stir in the baking soda. Reduce the heat to medium, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. When a wooden spoon drawn through the mixture leaves the bottom of the pan visible, and the mixture is light brown in color, remove the pan from the heat.
  3. Place the pan in an ice bath and stir constantly until dulce de leche is cold. Store in airtight container in refrigerator. Pour into sterile jars, and store in the refrigerator.
  4. If you would like, you can bake the Dulce de Leche into cookies or brownies or whatever you would like. Or you can drizzle the melted Dulce de Leche on top of your favorite dessert.
